Horizon Pension Plan moved to FAS
The assets of Horizon Pension Plan have been transferred to the government FAS. The main effect of this is that you will now receive at the most 90% of the expected pension. FAS also calculate payments from the time that the scheme started to wind-up. For personnel already receiving a pension this m...

Re: Holme Letter 001 Summer 2012
Hello Will, Initially I had to contact the trustees to remind them of my pending 60th -the trustees are supposed to contact you 3 months before your 60th. They requested then succeeded in losing my birth certificate and marriage certificate. The trustees eventually arranged the pension through Scott...

Hard times for Navigators.
Unable to afford the price of his season ticket, this ex-Horizon navigator was forced to seek additional employment as a Greek dance instructor and part-time Lone Ranger impersonator, albeit with a very fragrant Tonto. Syros, Greece, circa 2005.

WWH address change
Hello, Anyone trying to get in touch with WWH Pension Trustees at 100 Fetter Lane London EC4A 1BN, telephone 02072421011 will be told that Peter Rees is no longer based there. He moved out in late March and took the Horizon Pension Plan folio with him. I was in contact with him over this period but ...

Pacific Horizon up the Thames.
Hola Ian, The Pacific Horizon was in the Thames either February or March 1988. I wasn't there myself, I was at the refit in Immingham then I went down to Poole where the Seaway Labrador required adjustments to its Magnavox. Simon Frobisher might be able to assist as I beleive that he knows where the...

The Seaway Labrador in Bremerhaven
Hola Ian,
The Seaway Labrador was in Bremerhaven in February 1991 and emerged from the refit as the Simon Labrador.
You should be able to confirm this by asking the Kwitung Man, as I suspect that he still has all the receipts.
Regards,
GEF

The Master Toaster mystery.
Hmmm, not quite right. At the time of the Bremerhaven bonfire, the owner of the Master Tor is not known but it was being operated by Master Seismic A/S. The extent of Horizon's overall involvement is not clear as management do not always divulge their true interests, but the installation of a gun co...

I was in contact with Peter Rees 2 weeks ago. He informed me that the result of the member poll was 'an overwhelming majority' to keep the pension fund as it is, i.e. not wind it up. He said that the result had been mailed to all members, but I didn't receive it. He was not in a position to provide ...
