SATA support in Slackware 10.1
Slackware 10.1 comes with a SATA.I kernel inside the ISO. This new kernel will allow you to install Slackware onto the SATA drives with and without raid.
Warning! When you install, the SATA.I kernel is not present when you view the list of kernels! But I assure you it is there!

Ho Ho.... Saying that though you cant get it all right all the time as anyone who has been on the CGG Alize will tell you..... I know, lets design the back deck with the sections rolling off the top of a reel instead of the bottom and have a nice hydraulic thingy to pull down the section at the back...
