Guys - I just got my posting details & I am definatley off to nigeria this month........ I appreciate all of your comments!!!!! the photo's aren't exactly reassuring though!

Anyone been out to Nigeria recently with any more comments/advice??

Working Offshore Nigeria!

Anyone got any recent experiences of working offshore Nigeria? May be sent there soon with my company but have heard alot of bad things about the place - kidnappings etc.

any comments / experience?

I finally been offered a position as a Trainee Navigator with a company called RXT - they seem to be really good & down to earth!! Anyone ever worked for them or had any dealings with them???

Many thanks for the reply Mark, I did have an interview with PGS as a trainee navigator, they offered me the job, but when it came to sorting the contract with head office they made the excuse that they couldn't employ me because i don't have a degree!! Thnks for the advice - I will just keep on sen...

New Starts - Breaking into the industry!!

Can anyone advise me of the best way to get into the industry?? I,ve been trying for almost 2 years but to no avail as yet!! Interested in Observer / Navigator jobs. Good mechanical / electrical / computers background but unfortunately no formal qualifications. There has to be a way in for me? Any r...
